They say:

“We have been going to the Fox and Goose almost since day one of Paul and Sarah's ownership in 2002 after a major power cut cancelled our booking at another restaurant....how grateful we were for that!
I really don't know how Paul manages to turn out consistently good food every single time we have been (and that is somewhere in the many dozens), including Christmas day dinner. We have never had a single chance to say "that wasn't as good" or "that didn't work".
The standard of food is superb and personally, I prefer the food here to some of the big names such as Gordon Ramsey, Delia Smith, China Tang.
Unfortunately we have moved away from the area slightly so cannot walk there as we did before but we still return frequently.
This restaurant should be included in the "Things you must do when in Suffolk", such as Aldeburgh fish and chips, Snape Maltings, visit Southwold etc etc.
Oh and by the way, the decor is perfect....you don't need to look at the walls....look at the masterpieces that have been created on your plate!!
John.”   (Trip Advisor)

“Well worth a visit”, this “terrific” country inn is a notably “slick” and “efficient” operation, which consistently delivers very good food at decent prices.   (Hardens)

We say:

Wow!  Four of us visited The Fox & Goose for a saturday evening dinner, as a result of recommendations, first from Martin and then from Steve.  Our expectations were high, because of the good reviews we'd heard, and we weren't disappointed!  The welcome was warm, the menu interesting, the service efficient and friendly, and the food was excellent.  Nothing I could criticise -- we'll be back, even though it's further away than all the other pubs and restaurants we have visited from Pettaugh.  Thoroughly recommended."

We visited the Fox and Goose, on recommendation, and we were not disappointed, our welcome was warm and the atmosphere welcoming, this is the place to go if you're looking for good food, whether it be for a special occasion  or a less formal meal! We had different items from the menu and there wasn't a single duff dish!  Delicious and excellent value for money  - looking forward to  our return visit. P.s lovely powder room ladies!
